Fender Files for $200,000,000 IPO

Why buy a Fender when you could buy Fender? Or at least a little chunk of it! Today Fender Musical Instrument Corporation (FMIC) filed its papers for a U.S. initial public offering of $200,000,000. The iconic company has been private for years, but is now looking to go public following a strong year of sales and growth.

Grab some shares and you could be part owner alongside Dragons’ Den/Shark Tank celeb Kevin O’Leary, who revealed on CBC that he is already currently a part owner of the company through the 49% stake owned by the private equity firm Weston Presidio. (See that video here).
